Quest - The Second Age : What's New

Utilising the processing power of modern computers, the whole combat system has been rewritten to provide a realistic and atmospheric description of a bloody battle, which I am sure you will agree is a vital part in any fantasy game! There are also city arenas which allow the novice party to practice their fighting techniques or where powerful parties can prove their superiority over their rivals.

The wilderness has been similarly enhanced with the addition of thousands more monsters, many of which are totally new to the game. Large groups can be found together, including different types of the same or similar species.

Along with many new items, each world has a number of unique magical items which give special powers to the wearer. There are many more improvements, too numerous to mention here, already added and towards the end of November 1999 the first of many new character classes will be introduced.

The standard charge for a turn in Quest is still only £2.00 with a reduced turn fee of £1.00 for players taking part by email in world17.
