Welcome to Issue 1 of - The new era
Well, its goodbye to Mark Ellis, who leaves us for pastures new.
I think I can safely speak on behalf of the residents of Kharne (oops.. sorry 'Cromlech') and say:
"Thanks, you made the Kharne Herald what it is today and you will be sorely missed!"
But... life goes on and with a new Editorial team at the helm the KH will continue to entertain and inform.
Many changes are sweeping our land, notably the collapse of the Pagan Empire.
Even as you read this - the last of the UPC super groups are bowing out with fights to the death nr. Henderston (9).
All-comers welcome.
If you are not already involved then...
quick you can still get in on the action...
it's all happening a few sectors South of the city.
As much death and gore as you can stand!
With the UPC gone, well apart from a handful of groups left scattered around, that leaves the Knights Templars (KT) holding "Top Spot" in terms of Alliance kills.
The DeathStormers Legion (DSL) and the Callers of the Black (COTB) will be looking to strengthen their positions and with several new Alliances seeking a foothold anything can happen in the coming months.
Editorial hint for all new and not so new groups: Mighty groups are only possible with the aid of an alliance.
The next issue of the Kharne Herald will contain information on all the 'official' Alliances.

INSULTS, MESSAGES, and CHALLENGES

You have tested our local inn and no doubt have found it most pleasant.
We have now received fully 10 Plague Winds and to add to the insult you have been unable to be attacked.
I hope that we will meet soon and that you will find out first hand what my new tactics comprise of.
As Unholy Ghosts recently blamed Clod Hoppers for their splendid return to the ways of War.
I in turn, blame them for raising my Ire.
Your doom will be brought as a direct result of my meeting with UG and you will be the first of many to suffer from my pains.
Your losses will be used as a warning to those who oppose me in the future.

I thank you for the offer to return my equipment, but as you correctly pointed out, I was aware you were operating in the area and should have known better.
I took a chance to get back to Lanchester in one turn and it backfired.
I have no need of the equipment as I have recovered and have replaced everything including the dead.
Keep what you won in battle, as it is your right to do so.
I'm sure younger Pagans can benefit from my moment of disaster.
I now rate myself as more proficient in combat than before and look forward to testing my new found might out.
As previously stated I hold no grudges from our "meeting" and wish you continued success in your campaigning.
I hear tha you recently cleaved 2 of the Clod Hoppers down with a loss yourself and congratulate you on the win.
When all the good is lying dead at our feet then I'm sure we can then have another fight, but until then we both have much killing to do!

Hi all - If anyone cares or not, just to let you know I'm out of g 13 now and the PDC has left the game for the foreseeable future.
What the other wings of the UPC do is up to them.
Thanks to all Pagans/Templars over the years for your support and non-NA enemies for the fights.
To all those NA groups out there - get a life, to all non NA groups regardless of alignment - keep kicking ass!
See you in Anarquia (G18) or Isle of Blood (G7)

Sorry to lose you, but I'd heard it was coming.
See you in Anarquia, farewell Viper and Co. Your exploits will be remembered.
Well that settles it, a new dawning from the end of an old era, arise brave knights of darkness, our time has come to unleash our fury and power upon Cromlech, rage, rage until nothing remains but the burned out carcass that once was pure and green Cromlech!
From: | Jota (1616) DSL |
To: | Viper Tombstone and Friends |
You once ruled our land standing tall and proud, but as with the dinosaur - your days are done.
It's time for Kharne to shake off the 'Pagan yoke; and for all young parties to roam free.
Question is... Who will now stand against the DSL?
